OK then we had 16 teams bid and every team got a player so happy days for everyone who bid.
Three got their second choice and two their third choice and 11 got their first choices.

Right no keepers were bid on so they are all in round 2

We will start with the strikers as only two were bid on and both only had 1 bid on each.
First up then is player KK 18 xxx 1 4 11 18 23 300 700 300 300 who went for just £20m and will be going to Wolves @Ian McNamara

The other striker to go was NN 16 xxx 1 3 6 17 18 300 700 500 300 who went for only £15m and that bid came in from Sunderland @freeriderau

Defenders then and we can get a couple of them out the way.

First up is I 21 xxx 1 20 12 2 21 300 300 300 700 who had just 1 bid maybe as he is a 20 rater. Anyway it was £31m which was bid by Aston Villa @Nocky

Another defender with a single bid was K 20 xxx 1 19 11 6 22 300 300 500 500 who received a bid of £32m from Everton @Darlington

A third one bid defender was O 18 xxx 1 18 11 4 20 300 500 300 300 whose bid was just £17m and that came from Crystal Palace @Eduardo

One defender had 2 bids....I know a bit of a rarity this but there you go.

That man was M 18 xxx 1 19 10 5 21 300 300 700 300 and the first bid was a cool £29m from QPR @Joe now clearly with two bids that wasn't enough but QPR came oh so close to getting their first choice man but lost out by just £1m as a bid of £30m was to win him and the team that sneaked in for him was Nottingham Forest @Fenris

Right we will come back shortly to the remaining defenders but we need to jump to midfielder AA 17 xxx 1 10 17 5 21 300 300 300 700 who had 3 bids which was the most for any player and two players had three bids.
AA though at first had a bid of £25m from Manchester United @stocko74 which was not enough. Next in was West Ham @Macca who went £41m and he missed out as well. The top bid that got the player was £49m which is the second highest a player went for in this auction and that high bid came from Leicester City @bruffio

So with West Ham missing out on one midfielder they targeted another in W 19 xxx 1 11 19 6 23 300 500 300 700.
Now this is the other 3 bid player and the highest amount paid will be on him as well so you now know the winning bid has to be more than £49m. It mean then that an opening bid of £41m from Liverpool @Eduardo was not enough and nor as @Macca knows was West Ham's £42m. Still we know everyone who bid got someone so @Macca will be breathing easy know he has his thrid pick.
The top amount this auction and highest bid for our man was a cool £55,250,000 and that cam in from the new man in the Chelsea hot seat @Dazoctaron.

As we now know Macca got his third choice we will quickly clear it up before looking back at defenders. @Macca and West Ham's final bid was £35m and that came in for X 19 xxx 1 8 18 10 22 300 500 300 700

Back to defenders then and player L 19 xxx 1 18 12 4 20 300 300 500 500 who received 2 bids and the first was from Arsenal @Jamma and they missed out with their bid of £20m as this man was going to go for over double that bid. The reason we waited will now become clear as we know some teams missed out on their first bids and the team that won him had missed out on their first choice of player W but got this guy with a bid of £41m and that came in from Liverpool and @Eduardo who get their second choice

The final defender to go was player Q 17 xxx 1 17 12 3 19 300 300 500 300 who had two bids and both from teams who missed their first in Arsenal and QPR. So one of them then got their third choice player and so One bid £16m and the other bid £29m
Arsenal missed out with the lower bid @Jamma and he went to QPR @Joe
