Unfortunately today City had to much for us and wer clinical, although we made a good start and had a chance or 2 early on city turned it on and after the own goal they dominated and shown there class. It's been a tough second season and unfortunately we've been the curse of second season syndrome. We've played well and the players have shown fantastic commitment however unfortunately we've not been able to get the results we need. I can't fault the players for there efforts and now I look bak I regret not looking to work more on the squad in pre-season. Wolves are a good side and whoever takes them on after i end my time in charge has a really exciting side to work with it's been fun building this squad and they've been fantastic for me.
Had the game 3 nil to the good within the first half an hour. Played well but the characteristic Manchester United stubbornness popped up and gave me a scare. Arana's own goal let the air out of their own tyres when they were probably in the ascendancy. Chose to close the shutters and ride out the last 10 minutes to bank the points. Amusingly this means Jackson has ended up as a midfielder in the team of the round!
