Aston Villa vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
We return to Villa Park to take on Wolves in a local derby which sees 3rd take on 17th in the table. Wolves have just 1 solitary win this season so we'll see this as a game we should really be winning but we know things don't really just happen like that in football.
This is a game that hasn't happened for a while with the last meeting between the sides coming in the FMFA Cup R1 back in season 17. That tie was a dramatic one with Wolves winning 4-2 at home before we came back to win 2-0 at Villa Park and progress on away goals. The fans will be looking forward to renewed rivalries.
In a boost for us, Wolves will be missing star midfielder Thomas Muller as well as defender Marquinhos through suspension. They are also somewhat struggling with fitness issues - although they do have 31 players in the squad so rotation shouldn't be an issue. For us nobody is missing so just some rotation based on what we want to do and to maintain fitness.
We don't really know what to expect from them so we just setup as best we can and go for the win. We should have the quality to see them off - but need to get it right
