Everton U23 2-0 Aston Villa U23
Just goes to shoe no matter how respective seasons are going any given game is up for grabs. We were in this one but they took their chances and were deserved winners.
The loss is our second of the season and ends our 16 game unbeaten run in which we won 13 games. It had to end sometime and it's a semi relief when it's over.
The damage is a cutting of our lead at the top to eight points with 18 to play for so we're still in control. As long as we don't go on a run of losses we'll be fine

Wolverhampton Wanderers U23 1-1 West Bromwich Albion u23s
An early sending off meant we were up against it in the derby and, despite taking the lead, dropped points were always on the cards. We did well to get a draw
We swap places with Liverpool again as we drop to fourth and it looks like that'll be us all season although Derby and Everton are lurking. Got to keep picking up the results
