We wrapped up the title with a 1-0 win over Wolves last time out and so now can rest some players against bottom of the table Brentford as we look to prepare for the U23 League Cup final. Our third title in seven seasons moves us level with Liverpool in terms of number won and only one behind Everton!
A chance to end the season with 55 points from a possible 66 though and that would show our dominance over the 22 games. We've slipped up a few times in the last six with two of our defeats and the draw coming then but ultimately it's been a comprehensive display.
With S_Lewis, R_Lewis and Dembele likely to stay as the overrated players next season this could well be the final home game for this side for Souttar, Quinn and George so they will all get the 90 minutes to hopefully give them a great send off.
Newcastle United U23 vs Wolverhampton Wanderers U23
My final game in charge of the Wolves U23 side and nothing to play for as we are confirmed 5th. It's been a solid season after promotion and we have probably over achieved. Again, we are handing the side over to Ian in good shape which is the role of a caretaker...
