Chelsea U23 0 - 1 Sunderland U23

One of our poorer performance in recent times. We struggled to get into our rhythm and influence the game so Chelsea shaded us in terms of metrics. That makes sense when we had a lot of blokes out there looking like they have leaden limbs.

Maguire spared our blushes, safe hands and like football always goes both sides will have moments. Waters converted his and we were able to protect that lead. They said good teams find a way to win ugly and this match is the prime definition of that.

Also getting through the fixture without any injuries or suspensions is great and we will be able to rotate back in our best players for the midweek fixture.

Tottenham Hotspur U23 fell 1–0 to West Ham United U23 in a tightly contested YDL Division Two clash on Saturday. West Ham struck immediately as Ben Woodburn’s deflected free-kick beat Jérémy de Bie in the first minute. Spurs responded with sustained pressure and created several strong chances through Griffiths, Duncan, and Ferguson, but visiting goalkeeper Finlay Herrick remained solid. West Ham threatened on the break, with Ronan and Dobra influential throughout. Despite Tottenham dominating possession and pushing hard after the break—helped by lively substitute Eoin Lehane—they could not find an equaliser. West Ham held firm to secure the narrow victory.

Eagles U23 1 - 0 Red Devils U23

Caleb Redhead scored in the 91st minute to win us the game and it was a well earned win. We find ourselves in the bottom three but the win give us the chance to climb the table in the upcoming games. Only four points seperate us and the teams sitting in the top half of the table.
