West Ham 1 - 0 Newcastle
The young Hammers started brightly, creating several early chances through Wooster and Halim, before being forced into an early change after injury to C-Philips. The breakthrough arrived just before half-time when Halim powered home a fine header to reward West Ham’s dominance. In the second half, Newcastle pressed hard, but West Ham defended resolutely, with Herrick making key saves and Golding controlling the tempo. Despite late pressure and missed chances, West Ham held firm to secure a deserved clean-sheet win.
