Aston Villa - Bournemouth

Its good to go into a game being the underdogs after having the league defeat to lose the title, i can fully see that Villa will take the double this season as they have built a very good side and are on a high from winning the league and then beating Liverpool to reach the final here. We had a good performance ourselves to get to the final especially with having to go through an extra game to get here. We have set up to play the strongest we can only missing Jones from the starting 11 and now its in the luck of ESMS to decide the outcome.

Good Luck Alex

Aston Villa vs Bournemouth

Here we go again! A couple of weeks after we slugged it out with Matt for the title we go head to head again in the World Club Cup Final!

I don't believe a word Matt says about being underdogs - he knows how good his team are and, just because they lost a one off match at our ground, this is at a neutral venue and he will fancy his chances at revenge! We will have to nullify their attacking threats and try to make sure we get the goals we will need!

We have performed really well in this comp - dominating the group and only losing when we played a weakened side having won it with a game to spare - but that matters nothing as we come into a final!

We have won this trophy - or the equivalent - once before back in season 16 so it's been a long time coming to have another shot! Hopefully we can round off a successful season with more silverware! It will not be straight forward though!

Good luck Matt

Please remember @Nocky @Matt that all finals there will be a fitness reset so all rosters will be at 100% fitness but suspensions and injuries will still be there. It is also played on a neutral venue so basically no home advantage.
