A trip across London for a battle with the Hammers, lots of changes so virtually a new team for us, Boast Donley and Devine all likely to make their debuts with Sarr and Crabtree coming back down from seniors to bolster the ranks

Whites U23 v Eagles U23

We're a team without any huge budget or depth but we're there with a good roster and will try to entertain our supporters. We want to play good football and develop a few players for the first team. Can Dean Karatas, Mateusz Bogusz and Dylan Reid is three players who can carry this team and if they play at their highest level we're more than capable to fight with the best teams in the league. Whites U23 away is a tough task but we're hoping for a good result to take home.

We look to have a slight edge except at keeper, so hopefully we can keep the pressure on their keeper and not ours. Should be a fairly close game overall though.

Leeds United U23 vs Crystal Palace U23

It has been a long time since I managed at this level of the U23 as Wolves were in the top flight when I was caretaker of them. So I don't know a lot of the teams and how the division tends to go. It will be a steep learning curve for me

Fortunately I come up against Ed in the first game - a manager i know pretty well. We have some battles and I fully expect to be competing against him for a title in every competition we play together so expect this to be no exception. Critical to get a good result at home here then.

We're not a great outfit as yet but are building. We'll have to scrap for results all season but hopefully we can do enough to be pushing near the top come the end. time will tell.
