A tough game against a very good side, both sides played well and created some decent chances however there were no massive clear cut ones. We were unlucky to give a pen away write at the end of the game and that cost us in the end. The players however shown amazing commitment and willigness to work hard in a new formation and overall adapted pretty well. The under 23s are continuing to grow and improve and that's the main aim when developing a young squad.

Bloody fantastic result at home. I was pretty gloomy when that first goal went in for them, a bicycle kick from a set piece of all things, but we rallied to get three goals. Wilson now with goals back to back, and Lightfoot was our man of the match. He was great with the ball at his feet today and was key in us getting players on the ball facing forward quickly. He recorded two assists because of how well he committed himself to the game plan once we were a goal down.

I thought Jonus was excellent as well. When you win 3-1 it's easy to talk about the goalscorers, but Tottenham did ask an awful lot of questions of us, and he came up with some big answers. Without those saves it could have all easily slipped away from us.

With one game left in the group, we're in a decent position to qualify 2nd from the group and this win is what we needed to do in order to keep control of our opportunity to progress rather than have to rely on other results to squeak through.
