Aston villa 1-0 Wolves.
A tough game against a tough side, we actually played well however could not do enough to beat them. We could not take any of our chances and they managed to score. We need to pick up some results in our last 8 games if we want to remain in this league. Could not be a worse season given how well we did last season. The players are devistated and kow what is required.

Sunderland U23 1 - 0 Derby County U23
The Sunderland U23 coach was absent from the dugout as the Black Kittens ground out a 1-0 home win against Derby County. Moore scored the only goal and got man of the match and a yellow card which means he'll sit out the next two games with a suspension for accumulated cards. Wilson set up the goal with a ball that left Moore in plenty of space and enough time to make a cup of tea before deciding what to do with it. The win keeps Sunderland in touching distance of remaining in the U23 Super League, where a poor run of form for anyone from 5th to 10th could easily find themselves drawn into the relegation scrap.
