  2. Right it appears that @Daniel has put Wolves on his bid instead of Spurs. The error is because he is wolves on other sites but nonetheless the bid clearly states Wolves and under the rules Wolves do not have the cash so Lewandowski goes to next highest bidder which is QPR. I have spoken to Daniel and he is aware now of his mistake and while gutted accepts it. I have explained his options to get a striker if that is what he thinks Spurs needs. So all is not lost for him so while you may fell sorry for him please don't kill me...I am only making sure the rules are adhered to.
  3. Give me chance Tony mate. I've just finished checking finances to find a team has cocked up and had to contact them to let them know as only fair they heard it from me first before the bottom falls out of their world. I will sort the extra abs thread today in my lunch hour.

Minimum bids must be £20m for 23 raters, £25m for 24 raters and £30m for 25 rater. (Please note keepers are judged as 4 below their rating so 28 keeper = 24 rated outfield. Teams may bid on two players and place in order of preference. If your first preference bid wins then the second bid is discarded. You may bid to maximum of your finances for both bids as teams may only win one player. Finances will be updated including season 12 prize money before the auction starts. Minimum bids are as stated above the list of players. All bids must be sent to @FMFA Auction and Subject Title should be Your Team Name. Rank your two bids (if you bid on two players) 1 and 2, where 1 is your first preference. All bids received outside the open and close times on each round will not count. Once results are announced which will be separate threads the winners will have a limited timescale to decide if they want to up the main abs as described in the change above.
  5. Lastly Strikers.....and we had three go in the first round of the auction. We will start with the cheapest who went for a modest £20m on this teams opening choice bid and with no-one else bidding they get their man and a potential U23 player as well. I_Success will be plying his trade next season at Goodison Park in an Everton shirt. Next we have a striker won on a second choice bid and with no one else bidding for him he went for £36m. That means L_Vietto will be at Aston Villa for Season 13. Finally then we have the main man in R_Lewondowski who attracted a few bids in the first round. Villa bid £46m and lost, Liverpool beat that with £47m and lost (Liverpool also had no second choice so win no one this round). Wolves bid over £127m for him but due to a mistake as it should have said Spurs it means that Wolves do not have the available finances to buy him and therefore he was won for just £55m and will play for Queens Park Rangers in the coming season That concludes round one. Those who have won above will not be able to bid in round two.
  6. Midfielders then and we only had one go in the first round of the auction and he went on a teams second bid. So everyone first off went for Strikers and Defenders. Back to our midfielder then. The man who was won is C_Pulisic who next season will be at the King Power as he runs out for Leicester City who get their man for £48.5m
  7. Right then we will start with the goalkeepers and none were won in the auction in this round. Now we move on to defenders where there was a lot of interest. We will start easy and first up is a defender picked up for £35,000,000 won with their 1st choice bid. M_Jorgensen will be playing at Turf Moor next season as he was snapped up by Burnley. Next we have an eligible U23 player in C_Mepham. He was won by a second bid and goes for the equal lowest bid amount of £20,000,000. He will be playing at Crystal Palace next season and their opening bid of £31.5m for defender N_Sule was not enough. So what about N_Sule then? Well he was bid on by a few, palace as said missed out and so did QPR with their £55m bid. The winning bid for this defender was ££68,000,000 snapped up with their second choice bid as their bid on Y_Mina failed. Siule will be at the stadium of light next season in a Sunderland shirt. Y_Mina id the final defender to go in this round and he attracted interest. We already know that Sunderland failed on him, their bid was £74m that did not win and outstripped Leicester's £46.5m and Stoke's £45m. The winning bid came from the Championship winners Chelsea who landed their man with a bid of £81,000,000
  8. Right there is a change to the Auction this season. It was discussed by staff who all voted for the change. This season all the players are shown with 300 abs across the board but in a new twist you can buy 100 abs increases on your auction win (if you win a player) up to a maximum of 500 abs. This is only for the main stat (i.e defender TK, midfielder PS etc). You can buy 100 abs for £4,000,000, so 500 abs would be £20,000,000. What this now does hopefully is opens up the auction more in that you now have to think do I want to go all out for my player and put it all on getting him do I save some to try and make him close to the next stat by spending £20m and getting him to 800 abs to start with or do I bid on a lesser player hoping my chances are higher of winning and build the abs. Decision eh? guys. As they say in quiz shows.....the decision is yours. I hope you like the option but if you don't then the auction is just as it was for you. AUCTION RULES There will be two rounds. Round 1 will open at midnight on Sunday 17th March 2019 and close at midnight Tuesday 19th March 2019 - Everyone may bid Round 2 will open at midnight Thursday 21st March 2019 and close at midnight on Friday 23rd March 2019 - Teams who have not won a player in round 1 may bid. As usual I, @David, will send my bids to both @Daniel @FMFA Auction for fairness and no-one will enter the FMFA Auction account during the bid times
  9. We have our players for the pre-season auction decided and to give you opportunity to browse and plan your possible bids we have listed them below. Full rules are still to be decided and minimum bids must be £20m for 23 raters, £25m for 24 raters and £30m for 25 rater. (Please note keepers are judged as 4 below their rating so 28 keeper = 24 rated outfield.
