Sunderland U23s - Darlington

Darlington at home, opportunity for a bit of revenge after they turned us over the other week. We'll aim for a win as it will put us in the strongest place to qualify from the group.

Leeds United U23s - Hartlepool

Stumbling a little in the last two games. Good opportunity to get back on track with our form. Aungiers comes straight back into the engine room for this one, and I think it will be enough to get the three points away in Leeds if him and Miley fire up like they have been doing so far. Have to make sure we are nipping at heels and bullying them, don't let them settle, and we'll be just fine.

Wolves U23s Scunthorpe United

So we face Scunthorpe united at home for our next game in the cup. We've not done badly in this cup so far however we have struggled against national league teams given their seniour teams and we're u23s however our team does have the ability to compete at this level given the squad we have We're relying on players like Ben and Ryan to show their quality and help us to compete. Scunthorpe are a side who are capable of scoring goals, our Solihull team got a beating from them in the league recently so we know what their about. We've got to play the best we can and work hard to achieve a decent result.

Manchester City U23s - Solihull Moors

Away against Manchester city u23s in the cup. Although we are a national league side we're a very young group of players. This means we're probably on par with Manchester city in regards to player experience apart from Wilson, Clarke and brown who are slightly older. This will be a very hard game as manchester city have a very good reputation for bringing through very good young players. Our problem at the moment is our inability to score goals despite creating chances. This needs to start changing as we're a capable side however if we're not scoring goals all the good football we're playing means nothing. Our strikers have been worked extra hard in training this week as they know how concerned I am about our lack of goal scoring.

Spurs U23 v Boston

Tough away trip for the Pilgrims, in a game we need to get 3 points from!

Palace U23 v Forest U23

Hoping for a good result here, qualification is possible I think?
