Rushed my sheet and got an error and also forgot to change my tactic. It was an even game and the visitors deserved to come away with a point. Phillips Coutinho scored after only four minutes played but ten minutes later the away side leveled. Still loads of time left of the game but neither got the winning goal and it ended with a point for each side.

Arsenal 2-0 Atletico Minero

It's always difficult for the non-English teams in this competition as they tend to have weaker squads. That said, they can make it difficult and often scupper the plans of the bigger teams. That is why I am relieved that we were able to make the most of our possession and grab two vital goals for the win. A good start to this campaign.

Burnley 0 - 0 New England

Tactical advantage kept us in this game, as we were absolutely abysmal! One attempt on goal all game is really disappointing, but Burnley are a fantastic side and we will do well to get many points this season in this tournament... even less so if we play like this again lol

Aston Villa 3 - 0 Atlas FC

Played off the park in this one and with Liverpool next up i feel it will be an early exit for Atlas in the AAC

A great start to our campaign with a good home win as we return to the top tier. We didn't dominate but kept the clean sheet and took our chances.
