The result we needed with the random generator playing right into our hands throwing up a D tactic for River. We knew that whatever happened a point would be enough so we setup conservatively and it made for a dull game with us having just 2 shots on target and them having 0. Not one for the fans but an Anglo American semi final is worth ruining one match.
Progression in this one probably felt more comfortable than it actually was with just head to head goal difference enough to see us through but I always felt in control of our destiny throughout. A benefit of getting points on the board early.
We face Arsenal in the semis who are a side we are evenly matched with and wins generally going to the home side so it'll be a good contest. Hopefully we can come out on top and return to the final
