Reds U23 v Rams U23

Two teams who both won 1-0 on opening day on home soil. We have another chance to get a home win when we host The Rams U23 and surely we must be there to take it. We lost in the midweek and need to do better to be a more stable in the game for the longer run.

Fulham U23 vs Aston Villa U23
Fulham came up via the playoffs last season so there was no league meeting but we did face off in the league cup with us winning both games so we are reasonably confident heading into this one. The two sides had mixed fortunes in their opening league games with us taking a win and them taking the loss but it's their first home game back in the top flight and the crowd will be right behind them. Neither of us won in the cup in the week and so both sides will be looking for the points here.

Fulham will be hampered by the suspension of star defender Jesus and that does leave them a little short at the back with fitness after the midweek games also a consideration. We are at full strength and have a big enough squad to rotate the team when necessary.

Not and easy fixture but hopefully one we can go to and come away with the points

Wolverhampton U23 - Bournemouth U23

Now we go away to a very good youth side and manager, built by another top manager the wolves youth are a great side and with our keeper out its going to be a tough evening, after the performances from the youths in the opening fixtures its going to be a very long season at this rate

Wolverhampton U23 - Bournemouth U23

So our next game is at home against Bournemouth, Matt is a good manager so we know what we're going to be up against, a team that is hard to beat and plays good football. This could be a very exciting match and it'll be interesting to see who is able to come out on top. We're looking forward to trying something new for this game to test our players out in a slightly different system. We'll be playing the same as our first team to see how it goes. Really proud of the way we've started so far.
