Wolves 1-0 Leeds.

Really proud of my players, we played some good football and could have had more than 1. Leeds also could have had a few goals however Max Weiss had a really good game in goal and it's good his struggle in the cup did not affect him. Tel got another goal which makes two in two games which is really good, that's one out of one penalties so far. Simeone the captain won us the pen and this is starting to become a very good partnership. So that's two out of two league wins so far let's see how well we can do throughout the season and continue being positive.

Schade Stunner Seals Derby County Win at London Stadium

Derby County claimed a valuable 2–0 victory over West Ham United in Division One on Friday night, with McCawl and Schade delivering the decisive goals in a disciplined away performance.
The visitors struck first after just 12 minutes when McCawl pounced on a loose ball outside the box and drove a low strike past Alex Meret, silencing the home crowd. West Ham tried to respond quickly, with Mason Mount and Joshua Zirkzee both going close, but Aaron Ramsdale stood firm in the Derby goal.
After the break, the Hammers pressed higher, with Zirkzee testing Ramsdale and substitute forward Mothiba nearly profiting from a mix-up at the back. However, Derby’s defence, marshalled by Man of the Match Cristian Mosquera, held firm under increasing pressure.
The decisive blow came six minutes from time. Schade lifted a sublime lob over Meret from just inside the area to put the result beyond doubt
The result leaves West Ham rueing missed chances, while Derby celebrate a disciplined and clinical away performance.

Everton 0-1 Aston Villa
I said in the buildup that we had never managed a league win at Everton in my tenure at Villa. Well finally we can put that one to bed and come back down the M6 with all the points.

It was a cagey affair with them having the counter but fortunately we got the opening goal through Enzo Fernandez after just 12 minutes - the Argentine bagging his first goal in Claret and Blue. This caused the home side to switch it up and actually gave away the counter making the rest of the game a lot tighter then it may have otherwise been. It meant we were able to close it out and take our first three points of the season.

It's already shaping up to be a close campaign with all the top sides from last year having dropped points already and a bit of a surprise with Wolves and Brentford the only two unbeaten sides - two teams that i had predicted for relegation so shows what i know!!! But very early days and i'm sure things will start to take shape soon enough. We're happy to be unbeaten and have got one of the toughest away games out of the way with three points in the bag.
