Bournemouth 5-2 Wolves.

This was a bad loss however it was expected in some ways. with two high rated strikers against us it was always going to be difficult and the auction signing proved this. Our captain however scored two goals for us and has really adapted wel to the higher level of football so this is very positive. We managed to get two goals against a very good side so that is a positive we can take. Weice and Patterson are fighting hard for the number 1 position now so Patterson may very well be getting close to gaining the number 1 spot although had he started he may have struggled just as much. This was one of the top teams so the most important games are the ones against teams expected to be around us. We need to focus now on the next game and take the positives.

Brentford 2 - 1 Everton

M_Guiu (14) L_Bailey (26)
Injured: D_Kulusevski (53)
A_Khusanov (66)

very happy to get a hard fought win but at a cost as kulusevski went off injured lucky he is only out for 1 game but the main thing is the 3 points and with khusanov scoring the winning for us

Aston Villa 2–1 West Ham United
Villa Edge Past Hammers After Red Card Drama

Aston Villa battled to a hard-fought 2–1 victory over West Ham United at Villa Park.
The Hammers started the brighter, with Kudus testing Garofani twice in the opening exchanges. Their pressure paid off on 26 minutes when midfielder Robsie latched onto De Cuyper’s pass and rifled home to give the Hammers a deserved lead.
Villa’s response was immediate. Barely two minutes later, Ansu Fati pounced on a sloppy back pass, calmly slotting past keeperMeret to restore parity and ignite the home crowd.
The game turned in West Ham's favour when Villa's Pongračić, already booked, clattered into Zirkzee and was shown a second yellow card.
Despite the setback, Villa grew into the contest. Midfield maestro Gerson dictated play, and on 69 minutes his combination with Leemans unlocked the West Ham defence. Leemans took a touch before drilling low into the corner to put the hosts 2–1 up.
West Ham pushed for an equaliser, with Phil Foden and Mason Mount probing and Zirkzee going close late on, but Villa’s defence held firm. Garofani produced a brilliant save from Gvardiol’s header, and Dias added crucial stability at the back.
In the end, Villa’s composure and discipline proved decisive, while West Ham were left rueing missed chances.
