Sunderland U23 1 - 0 Leeds United U23

We had most of the ball and nearly all of the action in this one. McCarron was sent off for them in the middle of the second half. I can't help but rue our lack of a cutting edge at the moment, I would like us to convert these dominant stats into the scoreline. B_Slade and Ryan Nolan doing a lot of work in winning the ball and helping us forward on the transition. There's going to be some transition in our youth side in the coming weeks and our younger players are going to have more opportunities for minutes now so that's exciting for the club.

West Ham United U23 3–1 Queens Park Rangers U23

West Ham United U23 win with a confident 3–1 victory over Queens Park Rangers U23, powered by a superb first-half brace from Kane Wooster and an early strike from Marcus Golding.
The young Hammers started with real intent and were two goals up inside eight minutes. Golding opened the scoring when he latched onto a lucky rebound before calmly slotting past Luke Jones. Moments later, Wooster doubled the lead with a well-struck free kick that clipped the post on its way in.
QPR, struggling to handle West Ham’s pressing, found a route back when Riley Peddar’s long-range effort slipped through the hands of keeper Herrick to make it 2–1 on 29 minutes. But Wooster restored the two-goal cushion shortly before half-time, reacting quickest to his own saved shot to bundle home for 3–1.

After the break, West Ham managed the game professionally. Halim and substitute Mubama both went close, while at the other end Herrick redeemed himself with brave saves to deny Connor Rigg and Khalid Harrack. QPR’s Tom Lawrence and Jake Bongard both found their way into the referee’s book as frustration grew.
