Re: U23 Divisional Cup - Round 2 Reports
Leicester 1-2 Wolves
Well that was a tough fight and another extra time situation which is something we could have done without however we managed to get the result we needed. I am proud of the players as this puts us through to the next round of the cup. If we are able to continue how we are currently playying I am confident we can continue to have a good season and potentially win something which would be great in our first season.

Re: U23 Divisional Cup - Round 2 Reports
Newcastle United U23 2 - 3 Sunderland U23
You'd think after getitng out to a 2-0 lead we'd be in cruise control and smoking cigars for the rest of it (metaphorically speaking). So of course against the run of play they get two back and we struggle to convert the 71% of possession we had and the bulk shots too into more numbers in the goals scored column for us. I truly thought once we got out to 2-0 and were stroking it around we were on for another episode of the 'why Sunderland are the biggest and best in the Northeast' show.
Then Kas-Madia put them on his back and got them back into the game single handledly, and then came off injured which was a blow for them but for us the damage was done. We couldn't even exploit their red card in order to kill the game off in normal time. Happily enough Matadeen came out after the extra time oranges and got us one and then we were able to sit back and soak up them surging forward.
They have some exciting prospects that I worry we have missed out on, we should be hoovering some of these raw gems up given we're in the same patch and should be the destination club for young talent, not the horsepunchers.

Re: U23 Divisional Cup - Round 2 Reports
West Ham United U23 secured a dominant 3–0 victory over Queens Park Rangers U23 in the FMFA U23 Divisional Cup on Friday. The hosts took early control despite losing striker Halim to injury in the third minute, with substitute Divin Mubama making an immediate impact. Mubama opened the scoring with a spectacular overhead kick on four minutes before adding two more before the break, completing a first-half hat-trick as West Ham overwhelmed QPR’s defence.
The Hammers controlled possession and created chances throughout, with N.C. Philips and S. Moore orchestrating play in midfield. QPR struggled to build momentum, limited to just one shot on target as Dougui provided their brightest moments.
Despite some late pressure from the visitors, West Ham stayed organised to see out a comfortable win, booking an impressive cup victory built on Mubama’s clinical finishing.
