Sunderland U23 - Newcastle United U23

We've just played these dudes in the cup and then in the seniors! At least it keeps the travel bill down.

Got the job done against Chelsea and gave blokes some time to rest up their niggles and leaden limbs so now we should be able to name a much more regular side.

Keen to keep Matadeen out there, he's already having an impact at just 16 years old and elbowing out some of his peers for a starting spot. That's the sort of hunger we want to see from potential future England stars.

Familiarity might breed a little contempt here so channeling our powers of winning ugly is just fine as long as we win.

Whites U23 v Eagles U23

We face bottom placed The Whites U23 away from home and rely on a win to leave them behind us for the remainder of the season. Playing away from home is always a difficult task but we know we're favorites going into this one and need to take the game to them. We're a good outfit and we belong higher up the table. About time we put up a big performance.
