Well this was a very tight game however arsenal managed to break through and get a couple of goals, I am very proud of my players effort as they faught hard especially the defense and goalkeeper. That rest did Max Weiss good as he had a fantastic game. the two goals were good ones and apart from those the defence was resolute and stood firm. Arsenal are one of the top teams in the league therefor we would not have been expected to win however we need to pick up against Leeds in our next game as we're now into the second half of the season and although we've currently got a bit of breathing space results can change given how tight the league is.
Knew we was up against random but we did ever so welll and secured a vital home win. Luis Diaz was on fire and grabbed his first hattrick for the club. The first two came in the first half before he rounded off a perfect evening when he got the third with twenty minutes left of the game. Hugo Ekitike was also on the scoresheet and it was his 11th of the season, surpassing Alejandro Garnacho with a goal. Shame we lost Jeremie Frimpong with a red card four minutes into added time. A stupid challenge and it will see us playing Bournemouth away from home without Frimpong.
Away from home against a random is always requiring a bit of luck to get the result and going into the game without either first choice striker was a huge loss, we also took a gamble on fitness for the next game to rest a few players. We managed to secure Silva on loan for the remaining season so he will go in first team for this one and wow what a debut, 2 goals and man of the match is a mega impact on the side and helped us to a decent win and with results favouring us in the super tight league we finally jumped to the league leaders. it was disappointing to have an own goal conceeded but still a good result overall. Next up Liverpool!!!
