CLUB WORLD CUP FORMAT - SEASON 25

[Darlington]

8 FMFA teams joined by 8 world teams - 5 from outside Europe and 3 from Europe (current league champions in Italy, Spain and Germany)
16 Teams will then be drawn into 4 groups of 4 teams. Teams will then play each other at home and away and the top 2 from each group will qualify for knockout rounds.
Qualification for teams level on points where needed in groups will be:
1) Goal Difference
2) Results against other teams level on points
3) Goals Scored

Quarter Finals - 8 qualifiers from groups are drawn into 4 ties
Semi Finals - 4 winners of quarter finals are then drawn into two semi final matches
Final - 2 semi final winners will play the final.

If FMFA Cup or League Teams have qualified by finishing in the top 4 then their place goes to the next unqualified team in Division 1

5th & 6th in Division 1 plus runners up in FMFA Cup & League Cup play off in 2 semis, home and away to determine the final two teams to qualify.
