AUCTION ROUND 1 RESULT

Right then 22 clubs bids so the 2 that didn't Newcastle and WBA are in round 2.
17 players have been won so 3 have lost out. We have 9 first choice winners, 6 second choice winners and 2 third choice winners. 1 keeper won, 5 defenders, 5 strikers and 6 mids all won.

So lets start......

We will start with the keeper as only 1 bid was received for any keeper and that was for S_Lammens so of course has to be a first choice bid and win.
The price bid was £167m and that came from Nottingham Forest.

We shall move to strikers with a couple easy ones...

E_Kroupi was won with a single bid as only one team and they bid a £135m.
That sum came in from Fulham so he is off to London for the new season.

Next comes Igor Thiago who received 3 bids...

Lowest was £77.5m from Crystal Palace which was not enough.
We then had a bid of £113m from Leicester City which was close but not quite enough as the winning bid was £120m and that came in from Manchester United who bag the 4th most popular striker in the auction as 3 had more bids.

Now we will jump to the striker with the most bids....B_Mbuemo who got 5 bids but he wasn't the most popular in the auction.
4 teams then missed out on him!
Derby came in with a bid of £90m and that was nowhere near enough and then it was Brighton with much the same and a bid of £90.25m
Third was a bid of £101.75m and was a second bid from Chelsea who unfortunately missed out on their first choice who was the most popular player in the auction.
Also Liverpool's second bid of £156.5m missed out and they also had missed out on their first bid too.
The winning bid though was £184m and their first choice from Leeds United.

In fairness then we will now go to midfielder A_Semenyo as we know Liverpool missed their first choice and this was him.

They came in at £156.5m and as we know missed out. That bid means Bournemouth know they missed out on a £136.25m bid as it was less and the lowest bid of four from teams.
A third team missing out on their first choice was Everton who came in with £170.5m
The winning bid was just over £200m at £202m and that came in from Spurs who got their man and first choice.

Right now then as we are on mids we will stay on them and do Kevin who got 2 bids both second choices.

Bournemouth had him as their 2nd choice and came in with £136.5m and unfortunately missed out again as it wasn't enough as Everton had him also as their second choice and bid £150.25m and so get the palyer.

Now we can put Bournemouth out of their misery as they had a 3rd bid on a mid and it was the only bid of £136.25m and they get Rayan.

J_Palinha only got a single bid of £50.5m and so Coventry City get their first choice player.

Whichever way I do this a teams third bid has to be revealed before their second.

The last two strikers then bid on then.
First J_S_Larsen who got 4bids all second and third bids.
We know Palace missed out and this was their second choice and they missed again with £77.5m. Another team with a second choice bid was Brighton who stuck on strikers and went for him after Mbuemo and also missed out with £90.25m.
Both these bids mean Derby's third choice bid of £77m miss out and they are in round 2
The winner then bid £111m on their 2nd choice and that was Leicester
