CHANGE TO THE FMFA SALES
From next season there will be a change in the FMFA Sales and Buying.

FMFA SALES
From Season 25 Div1 teams will have a 20% reduction on final sale price.

FMFA BUYING
From Season 25 Div 2 teams will be able to buy at final sale price less 20%

The following rules will be updated for season 25:

Unmanaged teams or random requests will get a 442 formation and a random tactic allocated by the random teamsheet maker.

Missing teamsheets will result in a 442T.
2 errors in players will result in a 442T (players named twice, injured, suspended)*
2 errors in conditionals will result in them being removed.*
*1 error will, as always, be fixed by the simmer. An error in the players and then an error in the conditionals do not count as 2 errors, in this aspect the conditionals (AFTER PK:not including PK) are counted as a separate entity within the sheet and treated separately.
Repeat Errors (same error in 3 consecutive sheets) will result in a 442T.

New name: FMFA Under Armour U23 Division One

NB for cups - total matches means the number of matches the winner would play
FMFA Cup

New Name: FMFA Cup
Format Changes: Introduction of group stage. All 36 teams in 1 table, sorted into 9 fixture groups of 4 teams, playing each other in that group twice (once home once away). Top 8 qualify for Round of 16, 9th to 24 play a 1 legged play-off, 9th to 16th play at home against 17th to 24th. Group seeding TBC
Knock-outs 1 legged all way to final at a neutral venue.
Total matches: 11

League Cup

New name: FMFA League Cup
Format changes: Qualifying teams are the 16 non WCC qualifiers alongside the 12 National League sides.
Round 1 - 4 teams (top ranked teams not qualified for WCC (including WCC preliminary match runner up) get a bye. Remaining 24 teams play each other across 2 legs.
Round 2 to semi finals all 2 legged finishing with a 1 legged final at neutral venue.
Total matches: 9

FMFA National League Cup

Competition scrapped.

Club World Cup

New name: World Challenge Cup
Format changes: Current qualification system for CWC. 8 FMFA teams joined by 8 world teams - 5 from outside Europe and 3 from Europe (current league champions in Italy, Spain and Germany)
4 groups of 4 with top 2 qualifying for 1 legged knockout rounds.
Total: 9 matches

U23 Cups

All U23 cups have been scrapped and replaced. (IE National League Cup and U23 Divisional Cup)

U23 FMFA Cup
Top 8 from prem league last season receive a bye for first round.
Round 1 16 teams compete in 8 ties over 2 legs. Winners progress. ET and pens if needed to sort tie.
Round 2 THE 8 winners and bye teams compete as in round 1
Quarter finals - 8 teams in 4 ties, etc and pens if required to decide.
Semis 4 teams in 2 ties ET and pens if required
FINAL.
All two legs except final.

Total: 9 matches

FMFA U23 League Cup

Remaining 16 U23 teams that didn't qualify for ECC. Same format as ECC.
Total: 9 matches

This is posted as a reminder and to keep all changes in one thread:

In view of the announcement on Worthless Players we have decided that the top limit of 30 on rosters is too high and allowed some of the build up of players that then become worthless.

From End of Next Season Roster sizes allowed will be a maximum of 25

The maximum ratings allowed in the U23s from Season 25 will be 20 rated for outfield players and 24 rated for goalkeepers.

This rating increase is to allow for the loss of 15 rated and below.
