Liverpool u23s 0-2 Wolves u23s.

A great result against an excellent under 23s side in Liverpool. We were ready from the off and although they shown threat for the majority of the game we shown good control and game management. Kea Thomas and Kallie Quin wer our goal scorers and captain Harrison jones controled the midfield really well. He's deffenately proven we made the write choice on todays performance. New signing Jake Wilcox despite having only been training as a striker for a few weeks sinse coming to the under 23s shown amazing natural ability for the position and was a great partner for Kea thomas. All our new players bedded in really well and we're hopeful after this result we can have another good season. Thanks to the third slot for under 23s Norgett will be staying down to develop this seson and hopefully next season will replace Anthony patterson as he's looking to leave at the end of the season for a new challenge.

Reds U23 0 - 2 Wolves U23

Don't know what happened there but two goals inside the first twenty minutes didn't help. We failed with our tactical approach to the game and the season opener didn't end as we wanted. Overall we was the better team but when you conceed twice at early stages of the game, you don't help yourself. After the first twenty minutes of the game we controlled the game and had eight attempts on target. Poor finishing and a sublime Tom Norcott earned the visitors a great win. Jonathon Page was injured with a bruised leg and we're without our best midfielder for three games.

Manchester City U23 1 - 1 Sunderland U23

Old foes, new tricks. They were better against us today than in previous seasons, both squads have changed a lot in the offseason. A point away is still pleasing and Moore gets up on the scorers board early which is pleasing. It will take some time for him and Wilson to gel as the preferred two, but it won't be long before we're back at our best.
