Foxes 0 - 1 Pigeons
A perfect performance away from home. We kept the home side very quiet and they didn’t manage a single shot on target. We had to rely on a penalty and Valentin Castellanos made the most of it. The opening game of the group stages ended in the best possible way for The Pigeons.

Crystal Palace 1 - 3 Monterrey
Good win for us in the opener. We got off to a quick start and a two goal early lead gave us a cushion before Palace had a man sent off. That just about sealed it for us and a nice three points to kick off with

Chelsea 0-1 Flamengo
A really tough away game and we come away with 3 points. The games on the road are the ones where we look for bonus points and these are 3 vital ones.
I have a good record in this comp in getting through the groups but have never made the final. We're off to a good start looking to do better this year
