Liverpool U23 vs Wolverhampton Wanderers U23
4th vs 3rd in the big match of the weekend as both sides look for the points to get back into the title race after recent slip ups. When the sides met on opening day a 1-0 win for Wolves was quite the upset - after the work done to the squad and the way results have gone it wouldn't be such a shock this time. But Liverpool will be keen to restore order and get back into the top three
The Reds have no injury or suspension issues whilst we will be without Fabio Silva who serves a one match ban after his red card. Either Allan will deputise up front or we'll tweak the formation. It's the challenge cup in the week and we're already through so no need to rest anyone for that.
Any game against ed is massive and we've got the better of him so far this year between Wolves and Villa so I expect him to be out for blood. Hopefully we can maintain our good record against him
It's top vs second bottom and, to be honest, I would be very disappointed if we didn't win and win well in this one. The Spurs squad is at full strength but lacks quality, depth and fitness and a manager who sheets for them. This is as close as we will ever come to going into t game expecting a victory.
But we also know what complacency does in this game so there is no going lightly. We will take this one very seriously and be picking the strongest possible side. We have an opportunity to rest players in the week so this will not be it.
We have no injury or suspension and, although we are one mid down, that's ok. We have Lamare Bogarde arriving to fill that gap this weekend and then the squad will be finalised for the season.
It will be a major upset if we lose this one but nothing is set in stone and a 0-1 away win would be not totally unexpected - we have seen that before. But we'd like to think we'll have enough. A clean sheet would be good too
