U23 League Structure - Season 22
The league will be divided into 3 divisions, Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2.
Division 2 will be the unmanaged teams.
Teams will play each other four times a season, twice at home and twice away.
There will be promotion and relegation with top 2 promoted and bottom 2 relegated.
There will be play offs with 3rd from bottom and 3rd,4th & 5th of league below entering into play off.
U23 Cup Structure
The FMFA U23 Cup.
All 24 teams will enter the cup.
Round 1: Division 2 and Division 3 teams will enter a draw and 8 matches playing one game with home advantage. If teams are level after 90mins then extra will follow and if still level then penalties will be used to decide.
Round 2: 8 teams from round 1 plus all Premier League teams will be drawn into 8 matches playing one game with home advantage. If teams are level after 90mins then extra will follow and if still level then penalties will be used to decide.
Round 3 (Quarter Finals): 8 winning teams from round 2 will be drawn into four matches playing one game with home advantage. If teams are level after 90mins then extra will follow and if still level then penalties will be used to decide.
Round 4 (Semi-Finals): 4 winning teams from round 3 will be drawn into two matches playing one game with home advantage. If teams are level after 90mins then extra will follow and if still level then penalties will be used to decide.
Round 5 (Final): 2 winning teams from round 4 will play one game on a neutral ground. If teams are level after 90mins then extra will follow and if still level then penalties will be used to decide.
