Aston Villa vs Monterrey
The job is done and we have qualified for the quarter finals but we would like to finish as high up the group as possible. A win guarantees us top 3 - although Bournemouth could pip us to second even if we win if they win by 2 goals more. Worst case we lose and finish fourth which is not the end of the world with the draw likely enough to get third. So this is a balancing act for keeping the side fresh as we continue to try and fight it out on two fronts.
The visitors have their best defender plus one of their best mids missing and have fitness issues. they are practically out so i'm not sure how much fight they will bring to this one.
We have a full squad to pick from but may mix it up a bit to keep it fresh.

Al Ahly vs Club Atlético Central Córdoba
Still a bit for both sides to play for in this one. Cordoba are 12th and so occupy the last place for the playoff round. They need a point to confirm progression but they will be ok as long as Man City or Cordoba don't get big wins.
For us we can still progress straight to the quarters if we win and Everton lose. If the Toffees draw we will have to win by four clear goals to progress. Anything less than a win and we are in the playoffs but it could put us in jeopardy of having to go away. With a big defeat our opponents Cordoba could overtake us! With some of the games a draw would be enough for a home playoff but a win guarantees it so that is the goal for this one.
They had a rest last time so are fully fit whilst we have our best defender out injured. That makes it harder but hopefully we can do enough to get all three points
