Wolves are promoted to Div 1!!!
In the end we got the point we needed to secure promotion and take Wolves to the top flight. It means I would have been stepping down anyway but delighted to hand them over to @Ian McNamara as a Division One club.
Ultimately if we could have nicked a winner it would have been enough to be up as Champions but, had we lost, we'd have been in the playoffs so we did what was needed.
I enjoyed my year looking after Wolves and believe I did exactly what a caretaker should - turn them into an attractive squad for a new manager to come in and take charge of. Shame we couldn't win the league but we were never outside the top two throughout the season and I believe it is a deserved promotion.
