Hartlepool United 0 - 0 Chippenham Town

Hartlepool had the better of it but couldn't break down the visiting Chippenham Town at Victoria Park this evening. In fact this round of the National League is good for anyone playing the pools with four 0-0 draws out of six matches and just the one win overall. Foreman lively but just not lively enough to nick us the other two points which would have been tasty with Leamington also sharing points tonight.

Leamington keep their four point gap on us and we'll probably need to think about where we can boost the squad to be able to chase them down, maybe with some U23 players who are local to the North East who want a crack at senior football and knowing what it's like outside the arms of a larger club.

Darlington 2-1 Solihull moors.

Due to an admin error our sheet faled to submit, we'll be doing an investigation to find out who was at fault as this cost us the game. Darlington played really well however so did we and had our sheet gone in as expected we'd have had a chance. We got a goal however which is a positive as it's something we've struggled with. Hopefully now we will be more careful and ensure all sheets do go in as they should. Really proud of the players and how well they work for each other.
