We got a point after a scoreless game against The Sky Blues but it was a game we controlled and should have won if our finishing was of higher quality. We decided to play with only Dango Ouattara up front and his three attempts couldn't get the better of Oliver Dovin in their goal. A point is better than losing and we keep ourselves nicely placed in the table.
Newcastle United 0 - 1 Manchester United
R_Hojlund (31)
Injured: A_Januzaj (81)
I WAS debating changing formation but for now i will keep this one as i got a crucial away win with the only goal from hojlund but again januzaj injured after just coming back hopefully its not to bad but the main thing was the 3 points
Well I did say they are a flexible side under the interim manager and I know we beat them 9-0 to open the season but surely no one saw the catenaccio type approach coming. If you can characterise it as that, that is. Good teams find a way to win ugly and we did exactly that whilst helping contribute non pharmaceutical treatments for insomnia.
They had 5 shots but all off target, but you only need one moment to go right to salvage a draw, so when their bloke was bearing down on goal and Wissa tried to stop him... Well look it's a foul and a red but you have to applaud the lad's wholeheartedness. We'll miss him in upcoming games but it's a good opportunity for Toney to stretch his legs and strut his stuff.
