FMFA LEAGUE CUP FORMAT

The 16 teams that are not involved in the World Challenge Cup and the 12 National League teams qualify for the League Cup.

Round 1:
Round 1 - 4 teams top ranked teams not qualified for WCC get a bye. Remaining 24 teams play each other across 2 legs'

Round 2:
12 qualifiers from round 1 and the 4 bye teams will be drawn into 8 ties. The teams will then play each other over two legs (home and away). If the matches are level after two legs then extra time then penalties will be used to decide the winner.

Round 3 (Quarter-Finals):
The 8 winners from Round 2 will be drawn in 4 ties. The teams will then play each other over two legs at home and away. If the matches are level then extra time then penalties will be used to decide the winner.

Round4 (Semi-Finals):
The 4 winners from Round 3 will be drawn in 2 ties. The teams will then play each other over two legs at home and away. If the matches are level then extra time then penalties will be used to decide the winner.

FINAL:
The 2 winners of the semi-finals shall meet in a one legged match on a neutral ground. If the match is level after 90 minutes then extra time and penalties will be used to decide the winner.

The winner of FMFA League Cup will qualify for the following seasons Club World Cup.
The runner up qualifies for the Club World Cup Play Off for the final 2 spots
