Re: NL Round 1 - Reaction
Solihull Moors 3-1 Buxton.
I am really proud of my players. They worked really hard in this one despite Buxton being a constant threat throughout Their young striker Tomlinson was a constant threat and deserved his goal that he scored. Our players however played amazing especially Billy Corns who got us two goals. He was busy throughout the game and the midfield were in control for large parts. Captain Wilkinson did really well when he came on as well so Whitehall could be getting concerned already as in 20 minutes he did a lot more than the youngster. This is a fantastic start for our team and I am really proud of the performance.

Re: NL Round 1 - Reaction
Chippenham Town 0 - 2 Dagenham and Redbridge
Dagenham took an early lead through striker Wilson in the 5th minute. Despite going a goal down, Chippenham dominated the rest of the match, creating numerous chances and hitting the woodwork multiple times. However, they were repeatedly denied by a stellar performance from Dagenham's goalkeeper, Howes, who was rightfully named Man of the Match.
As Chippenham pressed for an equalizer, midfielder Marsh sealed the win for Dagenham with a late volley in the 90th minute.

Hartlepool United 2 - 0 Leamington
Two games, two defeats and no goals! Not the start we were hoping for, but Hartlepool deserved the three points.
Well played Jammy (I think?)

Re: NL Round 1 - Reaction
Darlington 3-1 Bromsgrove Sporting
It was always going to be tough up against a David side after a midweek extra time game but we started well and managed to take the lead. Maybe we should have tried to park the bus but it was just too early for that and they came back too quickly for us to really consider it.
The game was fairly even but they were more clinical with their chances and get the fair win. We are pleased with the way our part timers coped with the tired legs after the cup game which had caused us to play a weakened side.
Defeat is the cost of playing extra time and not finishing Scunthorpe off earlier. We accept it and move on
