Bournemouth U23s 1 - 1 Brighton U23s

Firstly, apologies for the error David! Will make sure that one gets corrected before the next fixture...

The game itself was a bit wild! We took an early lead before then scoring an own goal to level the game up and let Bournemouth back into it... but the hardest part was another red card and injury in the same game. Silva, who was our goal scorer, saw red and will miss the next two fixtures, whilst Moran fortunately bounced back from his injury and will be available for our next fixture.

The result keeps us fourth, but we're four points behind Liverpool now and any hope of a title challenge is probably fading even at this stage of the season.

Villa 0-0 Everton

Not a great deal to say on this one - neither side did quite enough to win although we maybe shaded the play - so the draw is the result and not a greatly entertaining one for the fans. Only 1 win in 5 for the kids - although it's also only 1 defeat in 6 so loads of draws keeping us in the mix. We're back up to 2nd above the non sheeting Sheffield United and in striking distance of Liverpool. We need to get our act together though and find the form that saw us win 6 in a row earlier in the season. Otherwise we could just peter out - again.
