Watford 0-1 Aston Villa
A rare dominant win for one of our sides despite the 1-0 scoreline. In truth we should have won by a lot more and made this a lot more comfortable. But, 3 points on the road is always a satisfying result as we push at the top of the U23s. When you look at the table here, less than half the sides average more than a goal a game so a 1-0 win is about as good as it gets in a league dominated by GKs and defs.
We stay second but keep that pressure on Liverpool at the top as we remain in the hunt for the title.
