Bournemouth_U23 - Liverpool_U23

We are up and running in fine form at the moment but now we face another huge test in Liverpools youths with a top manager its going to again help us see where this rebuilt youth team is amoungst our competitors, I do fear that this will be the first league game we drop points in and with Liverpool only 3 behind in this earely stage this is a big match, we have the home advantage that we need to use. Day sits out still with his second match ban and S_Agina will require a fitness reset so likely to drop to the bench

Leicester City U23s vs Aston Villa U23s

A league where four teams look like they will be pulling away at the top and we're in there as it stands although the 0-1 loss at Bournemouth could still haunt us. We travel to Leicester off the back of a league win over Everton and a draw in the cup that should send us through. But, after winning the first six of the season it is one win in three now and so consistency is the key. With the two teams above us playing we can definitely take ground out of one of them with a win so we can't afford to slip up.

We think we know how Leicester will play and so we setup accordingly. No injuries or suspension means we can just rotate nicely to maintain fitness. There are no easy games but hopefully our class will show through and we can keep the pressure up on the other teams in the top four

Wolverhampton Wanderers U23 vs Derby County U23

We sit on top of the pile and unbeaten in the season with the visit of Derby to face us at our ground. The rams are fifth place which, as it stands, is the best of the rest as the top four have opened a five point gap. They will be desperate to close that but we can also widen the distance to the pack if we can take the three points.

The Wolves squad is finally how I want it and our U23ss look decent - better than I thought they would. we have invested a lot into them and hopefully it can pay off and we can keep up the good form.

For this one Ryan Trevitt is suspended but everyone else is available so we can pick a strong side and hopefully get the win. Anything less would likely see us surrender top spot and we're not quite ready to do that at this stage...
