Aston Villa vs Brighton and Hove Albion
Our first game since the devastating loss at home to Derby that cost us the league title and, after a long season of reflection, it's time to go again.

It's been another busy off season for the club with plenty of ins and outs and so Ruben Dias, Jarrell Quansah, Levi Colwill, Enzo Fernandez and Gerson could all be in line for debuts whilst Zack Butterworth and Ansu Fati should be re-debuting. It feels all have added to the squad and that we are stronger than we were last season but a lot of sides around us have also improved and this will be a tough season.

We're up against Brighton who still have Will Schoolar in charge albeit as a caretaker now but that doesn't make this any easier. The Seagulls won the equivalent fixture last season 2-0 and were one of only three away teams to win at Villa Park in the league with the other two coming in the final two games. Indeed we go into this game having lost our last three home games in all competitions and no wins in the last five games overall. Hopefully the off season will have provided a reset.

Both sides are going to be full strength with Luke Shaw likely starting for Brighton against us after going there in the Colwill deal. We hope with a home match and out squad we can get off to a winning start - but this one has banana skin written all over it. We lost our first game of last season and went on to do ok - but we'd rather not face that again!

Arsenal - Wolverhampton Wanderers

So my first game in the dugout as Wolves manager. Thanks to the fantastic work of Alex Nock last season we're going to be playing in the top devision this season. Their is no doubt this is going to be a very tough season. Arsanal have an experienced manager in Jamma so this will be a hard game. We've not come up against each other much however they were one of the sides who could have won the title on the last day so this won't be easy. We've done a lot of deals in pre-season in order to make ourselves more competitive in this devision. We've also made last years top scorer Simeion captain so that youngster Mathys Tel has a strong partner to play with. David Fofana will be third choice however he'll still be vital to us going forward. Max Weiss, Dan ballard, Tray hume, Grannit yjacka, Bukayo Saka, Patrick roberts are also all lightly to get starts to make there first appearances for the club so it's all change. We're looking forward to getting going and let's see how well we can do this season.

Derby County - Everton

Always a tricky start when your away but it's also match 1 which doesn't help as teams will have changed and new players in etc.
I also think last season we didn't do so well against Derby and @Dazoctaron and he will be looking to start on the front foot as well.

We now have boosted our midfield with Wirtz and Dewsbury-Hall so hoping we can get off to a reasonable start but we shall see.

DERBY COUNTY - Everton

We start the season with a home game.
We did fairly well against this opposition last time out and a good start would be warmly welcomed.
There have been a lot of comings and goings during the break but the backbone of the team is the same as last season.
The starting lineup and formation will be chosen at the last minute as we have several that we are pondering.
Saved penalties for a living and reffed for a bit.
Currently run EFLO, CoE and OFMC

Bournemouth - Brentford

We were surprise champions of last season and with preseason not going according to plan in games we are glad to be at home but against Neil wont be an easy game. We have already been given the pressure of the early season predicitions which is nice to be seen that way but retaining a title in the league this close will require a season long of top performances. We have brought in some top quality players giving us an all round fresh look to the side with 24/26rs in all areas but Gyokeres is already out injured so this is a huge loss for the opener.
