Manchester United U23 1 - 2 Sunderland U23
In control for the game but unlike their seniors they gave us a scare even though the stats say it was pretty one-sided. Moore got man of the match for us, for his one goal. I'm confused though, it's a great game for him and I was complaining about our strikers, but Carre got NINE key passes, he was Mr Everywhere today, surely that's worth a gong? And Halliwell was pretty good for them in an under siege defense. Anyway, it's another three points, most goals scored in the division, same story as the seniors - in 3rd at the moment. But easier in the U23's to say where we are at, it will be a tight division this season and great opportunities for young players to smash it and step up at the end of the year.
