Heartleypool 1-0 Solihull.

This was a tough loss to take however again we can't finish and that's one of our teams major problems. We're creating a lot of chances and playing fantastic football however for some reason we're incapable of hitting the net. Our good football means nothing if it is not being turned into goals. You can play all the good football you want however if your not scoring it means nothing. It was a shame as the formation overall worked really well and the players adapted well to it however we're just not able to score and that's really costing us as we're a team who is capable as shown in our first game.

Hartlepool United 1 - 0 Solihull Moors

Delighted to edge this one, a really close game that had a lot of action. Both keepers were put to the test and needed safe hands and keen reflexes, we put thirteen shots on the target which is good areas but I'd prefer to have seen more goals for our efforts! But I bet Ian feels the same way.

Foreman was man of the match, no disrespect to the lad but would have thought keeping the clean sheet or scoring the winner might be more gong worthy? Anyway, with this result we stay undefeated at the top of the league with Leamington close on our heels. Next up is Leeds U23 in the national league cup where I fancy a result, and then Boston United as the second home league game in a row.
