Aston Villa vs Stoke

A cup game and our last chance of a trophy for the season - we take on my former club Stoke City. This is our first time in the 3rd round since we made the semi finals in season 15 but hardly one to brag about as we haven't even played a game in it yet this season. In all honesty, we have an abysmal record in this one and we're really hopeful we can turn something around to try and at least challenge for a trophy this time.

I don't know a lot about Stoke since I left them but they're mid table in Division 1 so we will be favourites - although our form certainly doesn't deserve that tag. The TV cameras will no doubt be at Villa Park with a potential upset on the cards. We need to make sure that doesn't happen and will be looking to kill it off in the first leg
