Interesting game as we now have a say in the title as our rivals Liverpool would win the title if they don't lose and we win against Villa.
We will want the win just a shame it may give Liverpool the title.
We drew 0-0 with Liverpool in the week meaning it is in our hands going into this one. Had we won it'd be virtually over but we couldn't find the goal. As it is we have to match the Liverpool result - can't see them winning by 7 or more to overturn the GD. We assume they will beat Watford at home however - so we must find a way to win here.
We drew 0-0 with Everton at home in round 11 which was the first game in a 15 match run of P15 W9 D5 L1 in all competitions. In those 15 games we have conceded 8 goals - 5 of them came in 1 freak defeat to Sheffield United. That is what has put us into this position with a title decider and a cup final to end the season. This is why we do it.
The squad is stretched very thin after the promotion of Souttar with suspensions taking their toll. Lewis returns from his but Butterworth is out which is a big blow - although it guarantees him fitness for the cup final. But this is the big one and we can't worry about what comes after - it's the very best we have here.
